Quality
Quality conceived in the widest sense -products, processes and management- is one of the main attributes of solvency on which Química del Nalón, S.A. bases its corporate competitiveness. Its Managament Quality System is certified since 1993, in accordance with UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Quality policy
We are oriented towards our client’s satisfaction, keeping, at the same time, an adequate relationship with our suppliers. We understand quality as a permanent attitude of continuous improvement.
Management commitment is based on:
- Systematic reduction of costs, non-conformities and claims.
- Compliance with the legislation and regulations in force and whatever commitments the company is signing for.
- Development and setting of Nalon-Pro-System as a dynamizing system of continuous process improvement, using the principles, concepts and management tools fitting our needs.
The efforts in developing and implementing this quality policy have allowed Química del Nalón, S.A. to certify its Quality Management System in accordance with UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2015 standard for the following activities:
- The production of foundry coke/metallurgical coke:
Certificate ER-0045/1993. - The production of coal tar distillation products( pitch, naphthalene, oils):
Certificate ER-0045/1993. - Crude coal tar handling and storage (Industrial Química del Nalón Polonia, S.L.):
Certificate NC-1293.
Química del Nalón, S.A. is a founding member of the Asturian Quality Club. This institution has among other aims, making public the benefits that the implantation of Quality Management Systems imply for society.
