Nalonchem (Quimica del Nalon) participated in the conference ‘Affordable energy: What else does the Asturian process industry need?’ organised by the Asturias Chemical and Process Industries Cluster (IQPA) on the association’s 25th anniversary, held at the Royal Institute of Asturian Studies (RIDEA).
The business round table was made up of Jesús González, director of the Fertiberia factory in Trasona (Corvera); Daniel González, director of Nippon Gases; and Javier Fernández, managing director of Química del Nalón. The meeting was moderated by Javier Borge, dean of the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Oviedo.
The content of the presentations focused on the importance of having reasonably priced and stable energy that is secure in its supply and capable of meeting the needs of companies and their value chain, as well as having reasonable regulation in a globalised and highly competitive world.
